Who
A socialite, Vogue contributing editor, and fixture at events around town, the wispy blonde is also the wife of billionaire Colombian heir Andrés Santo Domingo.
Backstory
Lauren is the daughter of Ronald V. Davis, the former CEO of the Perrier Group of America. Raised in Greenwich and educated at the prep school Kent (where, she says, she modeled for Elite on the side), Lauren graduated USC before moving to New York. Following a short-lived stint at the now-defunct firm Network PR, she joined Vogue as a fashion assistant and was later promoted to associate market editor. After three years at the fashion bible, she left to head up PR for furrier J. Mendel, later decamping to a similar position at Carolina Herrera. She departed the fashion house in September 2006. These days she's a Vogue contributing editor, one of Anna Wintour's favorite young socials, and a fixture at events around town. She's also an occasional model: The stick-thin socialite recently appeared in ads for Lord & Taylor alongside Lydia Hearst.
Personal
In January 2008, Lauren married Andrés Santo Domingo, who hails from one of Colombia's richest and most prominent families. The wedding, which took place on a private island off the coast of Cartagena, was attended by a long list of Manhattan socials, including Tinsley Mortimer, Fabiola Beracasa, Zani Gugelmann, Karolina Kurkova, Barbara Bush, and Nina Garcia, all of whom were forced to put up with brutal conditions (humid weather, a lack of air-conditioning in the historic church) over the course of the three-day extravaganza. The couple live in the Flatiron district with Lauren's bulldog, Georgie.
